New List of 10 Most Endangered Battlefields Released

The Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT) has released its 2008 list of the nation's 10 Most Endangered Civil War Battlefields.

Included on this year's list are two sites with special sections at www.exploresouthernhistory.com. Here is the list of the Top 10, with links to the sites we have visited and included on our pages so far:

• Antietam, Maryland
• Cedar Creek, Virginia
• Cold Harbor, Virginia
• Hunterstown, Pennsylvania
• Monocacy, Maryland
• Natural Bridge, Florida
• Perryville, Kentucky
• Prairie Grove, Arkansas
• Savannah, Georgia
• Spring Hill, Tennessee
